Visiting with a group

Playful, immersive, historical and up to date, the Chocolate Museum – Choco-Story COLMAR was created for every kind of visitor. Therefore it’s a perfect tour for schools or associations for all ages.

The duration is about 90 minutes, self-walking with an audioguide (included in your tour fee). Tastings are also included with different chocolates.

If you wish, you can ask for a personal guide (when booking your group tour).

Add-ons

  • In addition to your tour, you can take part to a chocolate workshop (only for 6+). You’ll be with our chef, for an hour, to make your own chocolates and bring them back home (250-300g of sweets – the tour is included in the workshop price)
  • Another option is to have a hot chocolate drink, home made and 6 different recipes (milk, dark, white, aztec, spanish and gingerbread)

Rates

Group rates are only for groups of at least 15 visitors (1). 

Our rates are available with the link below. (You can also ask for a quotation for groups of less than 15 people, but we will apply  individual rates).

(1) For workshops, you can have a private session if you book for 12 people. Group rate will only be applied with 15+ people.

Capacity

The museum has a capacity to receive groups up to 100 pax at the same time for unguided tours. For higher groups, it’s required to have a 15 minutes delay for 30 more people. However, it is necessary to check availability before your visit (booking is required).

Guided or self-guided tour

You can visit the museum on your own and make the most of the 100 information boards (in French, English and Spanish) and watch a number of films. The entrance fee also includes a demonstration by our chocolate-maker and you can taste our home-made chocolates (between 5 and 10 per visitor).

The museum can provide guides who will help you discover the fascinating world of chocolate in groups of up to 25 people. We prefer to limit groups to this maximum number in order for everyone to be able to follow the visit properly and make the most of this unique experience.
You can also bring your own guide if you prefer and, if you wish, we can give them specific information about the museum. Please contact us so that we can make an appointment for them to meet our guides.

Options

We can also organize special packages for your customers with extra goodies:
– an authentic hot chocolate drink to enjoy in all seasons (made according to the Aztec recipe, the Spanish recipe, with speculoos, hazel nuts, with milk or just plain) 
– a 500 gr bag of chocolates to choose from more than 10 different varieties
